Behind it All

How about here…my name is Amanda and yes, I am the one responsible for Dope Yogis! Honestly, I woke up one morning and said this is what I want to do. I had no expectations, had no idea where to start but I took off running. I knew what I wanted to offer others because these are things I have come to believe in.  

Motivation... All of you dope yogis whether you already are or haven’t yet realized you are. This is for you! Of course for my family and a little for me for these reasons. Most importantly, I know first hand how CBD combined with yoga/meditation can enhance the benefits of the practice allowing for a heightened sense of awareness and a greater feeling of peace. It’s a little break from the busy in our lives. An experience everyone should welcome. Sometimes yoga and meditation alone aren’t quite enough. Sometimes we have difficulty getting into that headspace and that’s exactly what our products are here to promote. Still somewhat important, This was something I had committed to and followed through to the end. I learned a lot through this process. I built my website, designed my logo, attained all my licensing, consulted with banks and vendors and on and on. I would be lying if I said this was an easy task to take on but one I feel was worth every step  

Who am I…I’m one of you. I’m a mom. I’m a nurse. I’m a companion. I’m a yoga enthusiast. I’m hip on CBD products. I’m tired sometimes. I’m motivated sometimes. I’m quiet sometimes. I’m goofy sometimes. I’m a business owner 😁 I’m here to help others. I’m here to stay. I’m hoping. 

I’m not alone…my main squeeze has been by my side as my mala making, photo taking friend! He’s had to endure relentless discussions, one way conversations 😆 ( I did hear him I promise) and well he’s still here! Aye yai yai! Our kiddos have been ever so supportive every step of the way. Always being the first to like my IG posts and answering my many questions because they’re way more tech savvy than I am. My entire family has played a bigger role than they even realize. They’ve been involved in label ideas, website ideas, this, that and everything else. They’ve been my sounding board. It does take an army! 

And this is it…Dope Yogis is here and I am excited to see what comes of it! This has already been a super cool journey with more to come..
